Dr. Ebony Joyce
Dr. Ebony Joyce is originally from Maryland and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University in Virginia. In 2004, she graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and subsequently moved to Charlotte, NC where she began her career as a small animal veterinarian. She spent 7 years practicing at a large multi doctor hospital before she and her family relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida. While in FL she enjoyed living and working at the beach, but ultimately decided that North Carolina was home. Since her return to Charlotte in 2015, she has continued to serve her community and neighbors by caring for their furry family members. She and her husband have 3 children and 2 dogs (Jasper and Trevor). Dr. Joyce enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family and traveling.

Kim attended school at St. Petersburg College in Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s in veterinary technology and hospital management. She proudly resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, their two sons, and a houseful of fur. When she is not busy in veterinary medicine, she is active with her family, loves traveling and the outdoors, enjoys photography, and is an avid Carolina Panthers fan.
Brooke has been with us since the doors opened in 2019. She will most likely be the voice you hear when you call, and will remember your name, your pet's name, and what you were here for the last time you were in. She just moved here from Orlando, Florida where she was born and raised, to be closer to her family here in North Carolina and spend more time with them. Brooke spends her free time with her loved ones and her dog Snuggles, her furry friend she loves so much!
Amanda joined our team when we opened in September. She is new to field but has always had a passion for animals. She’s friendly, caring, and enjoys interacting with animals. Amanda loves coming to work to learn how to help animals receive the best care possible. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, cooking, and spending with her family and 3 pets (Olive, Finn, and Tiger).
Born in New York and raised in Cabarrus County, Liz joined our team when we opened in September 2019. They previously worked in retail, but Liz decided to pursue a career as a veterinary assistant and CSR (client service representative) in order to fulfill a passion for working with and helping animals. Liz is an extremely hard-working member of our team, Fear-Free Certified, and eager to continue to learn in order to best help our clients and patients. In their spare time, Liz enjoys reading, playing video games, and hanging out with their 4 quirky cats (Barry, Harley, Diana, and Gus).
Jenny joined the team in August 2020. She is originally from Daytona Beach, Florida. Jenny entered the veterinary industry after the passing of her childhood dog of 12 years, which motivated her to attend a veterinary assistant program to kick start her career. She dove headfirst into work at a local emergency hospital, an internship program, and working with the wildlife rehabilitation team. She has over 6 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Jenny relocated to Concord NC seeking cooler temperatures and snow! In her free time, Jenny enjoys reading, drawing, hiking, and anything outdoors.
