Our COVID-19 Policies

While our standard operating protocols may have changed to increase our patients’ and clients’ safety, you can continue to expect the same exceptional care and service from Mills Creek Animal Hospital, COVID or no COVID. See our updated COVID-19 policies below to find out more about how we’re keeping you and your pets safe.

Curbside Care

Currently, our hospital is performing curbside appointments only. To schedule a visit, simply contact us as you typically would. When you and your pet arrive, stay in your car and call to let us know you’re ready. One of our team members will take your pet into our facility where we’ll provide the necessary treatments. If you need any food and/or medication refills, let us know and we’ll bring them out to your car. When your pet’s appointment is complete, we will bring them out to you, then call you after to discuss the appointment and collect your payment.

Our services are currently being prioritized based on the resources we have available. If there is something your pet needs, please give us a call so we can discuss it and help you schedule an appointment.

Online Pharmacy

You can always use our online pharmacy if your pet needs a refill on their medication, prescription diet, or supplement. Every product you order online will be shipped right to your front door, so you won’t need to drive out to our hospital.

If you have any questions about our COVID-19 policies or need to make an appointment, call us today at (704) 802-1005!

Dr. Ebony Joyce

Associate Veterinarian

Meet Dr. Joyce

Dr. Ebony Joyce is originally from Maryland and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University in Virginia. In 2004, she graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and subsequently moved to Charlotte, NC where she began her career as a small animal veterinarian. She spent 7 years practicing at a large multi-doctor hospital before she and her family relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida. While in FL she enjoyed living and working at the beach, but ultimately decided that North Carolina was home. Since her return to Charlotte in 2015, she has continued to serve her community and neighbors by caring for their furry family members. She and her husband have 3 children and 2 dogs (Jasper and Trevor). Dr. Joyce enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family, and traveling.

Lead CSR, Safety Coordinator
Meet Brooke
Brooke has been with us since the doors opened in 2019. She will most likely be the voice you hear when you call, and will remember your name, your pet’s name, and what you were here for the last time you were in. She just moved here from Orlando, Florida where she was born and raised, to be closer to her family here in North Carolina and spend more time with them. Brooke spends her free time with her loved ones and her dog Snuggles, her furry friend she loves so much!
